2010: In the grips of a Quarterlife crisis, I'm striving to both commit and find meaning through training for a marathon and becoming a first time gardener. 2011: Second marathon. Second (dead) garden. Higher stakes. 2012: Another marathon. No garden. Have I bitten off more than I can chew? Probably. Only time will tell. |

I’m crazy!
After I sent this, Kailee called me immediately and it is so on.
My coworker and I (and potentially a small group of others), will be running the Twin Cities Marathon this fall. I absolutely want to fit a half-marathon in before that and will likely start training soon.
It’s an unbelievable amount of work, but nothing compares to the feeling of accomplishment. And so dear readers, expect more gardening and running posts from me in 2011. You guys held me accountable to doing my runs when it was snowing, dark, and zero degrees out in January and I know you’ll do the same this year.
