2010: In the grips of a Quarterlife crisis, I'm striving to both commit and find meaning through training for a marathon and becoming a first time gardener. 2011: Second marathon. Second (dead) garden. Higher stakes. 2012: Another marathon. No garden. Have I bitten off more than I can chew? Probably. Only time will tell. |

I’m still in a mourning mindset about gardening and about running and I realized I might always be asking “Now what?” Some people don’t think about it, but it’s the question that has always loomed in the back of my mind.
For the better part of this year, I had an answer. At the conclusion of this chapter, it’s time to think up a new answer or two.
